Southeastern Regional Fall 2008 Letter

Dear Fellow Psi Chi Members, Chapter Officers, and Faculty Advisors:

I am happy to report that after my appointment, last year, as interim Southeastern Regional Vice President (VP), I was elected to serve in this capacity for the academic years 2008-2009 and 2009-2010.  Given my Psi Chi history, a member since 1978, a chapter installation officer, a faculty advisor, and a three year steering committee membership, I am so very pleased, and proud, to be able to serve as your elected regional VP.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND REMINDERS!

Consider attending SEPA:

SEPA returns to New Orleans in 2009 for another “Mardi Gras” meeting in the Big Easy. The Sheraton, located right on Canal Street, can’t be beat, especially during Carnival Season.  The 55th Annual Meeting takes place from February 18-21, before Mardi Gras, so there will be parades every evening that will pass right by the hotel.  And, as always,  you are invited to visit the Psi Chi Hospitality Suite where you can meet fellow Psi Chi members, as well as faculty  advisors from all over the southeastern region, and find lots  of valuable Psi Chi information.  I look forward to meeting you.
PsiChi Panel Discussions @ SEPA:

Attention undergraduates!  PsiChi will sponsor two  important discussion hours on preparing for graduate  school.  One will address both long and short term  preparation strategies.  The other will address the application  process.  You don’t want to miss these presentations.  Be  sure to attend.
PsiChi Distinguished Lecturer:
